The city hall is the spot of representation in a city where everything seems to be possible but nothing really is. It stands in the centre of democratic balance, peace and authority of a city. But what happens when the shadow is cast on the city hall and everything it stands for seems to have disappeared? „Unbesehen“ is an interactive projection mapping work in which the recipient makes a decision on a social stance through conscious positioning in the room. Does the person skip from the shadows into the light or do the dark shadows lie down on the facade ?
The project was realized with a Sick laser scanner. Like an optical radar, the lasers scan their surroundings and measure distances according to the principle of light-time measurement. The presentation is made via processing. The projection happened via a ProNeoXL 6000 - 10.000 ANSI Lumen Outdoorbeamer.
